 https://www.facebook.com/klublandblackpool/?hc_ref=ADS&fref=nf

Flying Handbag

Flying Handbag, 44 Queen Street FY1 2AY (01253 649155)
Modern, purpose-built State-of-the-Art Gay Fun Pub that is open from 11am every day. Gay. Cruisy, but with a very good atmosphere! Fun DJs that you really don't want to take on! Many Acts / Strippers / Drink Promotions etc. Food available from a sensibly priced menu that should satisfy everybody. A great Fun Pub with a Cheeky Party atmosphere, and one that's often not for the easily offended! Also has a heated patio and a balcony outside. Mandatory!

Flamingo

The Flamingo, 44 Queen Street FY1 2AY (01253 649151)
The multi-levelled, multi-million pound Flamingo where State-of-the-Art comes as normal and you leave reality at the door. The Ultimate in Clubbing! Ultra-modern main dance floor with high-tech sound and lighting. Multi-levelled venue with stylish bar areas dotted everywhere. Themes vary throughout the week - check the "What's On" on their website for the days you are here. Will often have Headliners appearing at weekends and Bank Holidays. Not to be missed!

Funny Girls

Funny Girls, 5 Dickson Road FY1 2AX (01253 649154)
Blackpool's famous burlesque show bar. An evening to remember! Early booking advised! Award Winning Entertainment and Fun with STYLE! A very popular venue which is a must! Not a gay venue, but it does get its quota of gay people, it's here mainly for the tourists to ogle at the famous lady-boys. Tables may prove a bit expensive for the average gay punter, who usually favours a standing ticket. Saturdays can often be a bit too Stag & Hen for some gay people.

BUZZ

BUZZ, 5 Dickson Road FY1 2AX (01253 649153)
What's in a name? Buzz, that which we've formerly called Bar B, FG2, and Boot Camp, may or may not be open, and possibly under yet another name, who knows? If it is open, it's sure to be good, but you'll need to check when you're here. Perhaps Basil should call it the Pink Rose?

KAOS

KAOS Bar, 38-42 Queen Street FY1 2AY (01253 318798)
They claim to be Blackpool's most exciting new Gay Bar, and who are we to argue? Formerly Trades Bar, KAOS refurbished everything and threw its doors open to everyone who appreciates an excellent nightclub. On the dance floor, the music really kicks - the sound is rich and full, and you'll really appreciate the skills of their Celebrity DJs.  With "Industrial" decor, KAOS is dedicated to clubbing, and with low Drinks Prices!

Peek-A-Booze

Peek-A-Booze, 72-74 Dickson Road FY1 2AR. (07946 528153)

Gay-friendly Cabaret - Karaoke Bar close to the heart of Blackpool's vibrant entertainment district and its sister bar The Queen Vic, just a stones throw from Funny Girls. Your host is Miss Cybil Du Vuax, famous throughout the north west for her entertaining repertoire! Good prices - good fun!

Man Bar, 25 Dickson Road FY1 2AT - Telephone etc TBA
Traditional Gay Bar with drinks offers often available and a pool table. Serves a variety of beers, spirits and snacks and can be popular. The Nightclub upstairs is the GROWLR CLUB for Men Only – Cruising place with themed areas for which entry requires a wristband obtainable from the bar.

Pepes, 92 Talbot Road FY1 1LR - (01253 626691)
It's often a mystery to us if and when this basement venue is open, so you will need to check it out for yourselves.

Churchills - Old Style Gay-friendly Pub.

Churchills, 83-85 Topping Street FY1 3AF (01253 622036)

Gay-friendly pub. Open all day with late nights at weekends. A nice, interesting, and friendly place often found by the tourists, but where everybody mixes well. Once known as Blackpool's little secret. Mainly, but certainly not exclusively, frequented by the older generation. Guest Ales, Pub Food, and usually Live Entertainment at the weekends.

Galleon Bar.

Galleon Bar, 68-70 Abingdon Street FY1 1NH  (01253 751488)

Where Time Out used to be, the Galleon Bar is gay-friendly with live music (Thur-Sun) and resident musicians. Lots of special offers, theme times, and discounts, sometimes with food provided. Disabled friendly, even baby-changing friendly, and with Wi-Fi internet access. Available for private daytime gatherings - office parties, civil partnerships, etc.  Looks a lot of fun! Students should bring Student ID Card, and OAPs proof of age (bus pass will do), for any available discounts.

Viva- Blackpool.

Viva, 3 Church Street FY1 1HJ (Box Office 01253 297297)
Popular with the tourists and not a gay venue, but when the resident host and compere – Leye D Johns - gets going, it can be more Camp than Christmas. Award winning service, a wonderful restaurant and sensational entertainment… all under the same roof. Check out the website.
